Uncovered Hidden Hamlets and Industries Guided Walk

at St Marks Church, Mosborough High Street, Sheffield S20 5AE

 

Presentation to start at 11 am

Uncover the hidden history of Mosborough’s industrial past with this walking trail as well as enjoy a Video and Power Point presentation of the self-guided trails available.

 

At this Heritage Open Day, you will have the opportunity to discover the hidden history of Mosborough’s industrial past with a Power Point presentation of the walking trail.  Take in countryside views, and explore Mosborough, Holbrook and Halfway’s fascinating facts about the area.

 

The presentation will be followed by safety announcements then the optional guided walk 2 – “Hidden Hamlets and lost Industries” it will show the distance, explain the terrain of the walk, highlight safety footwear requirements plus the estimated time required, and contain emergency contact details. This walk plus walks 1-3-4 are also available at any time as self guided walks.

 

There will be an eye spy sheet for any Children taking part with parents during the day.
Those not wishing to do the walk can listen to info on the walks, see a video on the Heart of Mosborough plus more from an Audio word document recording whilst reading the information maps explained by a group member.

 

Leaflets of the 4 Walks are available on the day or printed off from our website.  Information contact numbers on each walk leaflet – A QR code on the leaflet will take you to the website.  Also, Leaflets are available at the Joseph Stone Community Centre and the S20 Sandwich Shop Mosborough.
