MOSBRO’ CELEBRATIONS 1900’s

MOSBRO’ CORONATION CELEBRATIONS – SATURDAY 17 NOVEMBER 1917

 

In connection with the Mosbro’ Wesleyan Sunday School Band of Hope, a children’s cantata,

“The Coronation,” was given in the Schoolroom Saturday by 30 children assisted by a few friends.

 

Mr. E Peat, C.C., presided.  On Sunday Mr. T. Holland, of Bourne, was the preacher.  In the afternoon a musical service was held, and the following took part; Miss G William (contralto), Mr.W. A. Hamer (bass), both of Sheffield, Mr T. A. Wood of Sheffield, gave selections on the organ.  Collections were taken all the services in the aid of the Band of Hope fund.
