PRIVATE CLARENCE EDWIN FRITH – GUNNER

Clarence Edwin Frith was born in 1879 in Mosbro Derbyshire. According to the census below shows Clarence at the age of 4 months with his grand mother in High Street Mosbro, Derbyshire.

 

 

Clarence enlisted into the York and Lancaster Regiment into the 13 Battalion Yorkshire Regiment 40th Division Regimental Number 244009, he was a Labourer at the age of 36 years old.   Alexandra, Princess of Wales’s Own Yorkshire Regiment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He died on 17 April 1919 at the age of 39 and he was buried at Archangel Allied Cemetery.  Index No. Eur 17.
