MOSBRO’ MAN’S DEATH Sequel to Accident at Holbrook Colliery. The death occurred on Wednesday of Arthur Newton, 31, High Street. who met with an accident at Holbrook No. 3 Colliery over four months ago. 10 October last, Newton, accompanied by his son, Isaac Newton, 49. High Street Mosbro,’ was partially buried by fall of roof in Holbrook Colliery.

 

His left thigh was broken, and his ribs were badly fractured, and he also injured internally. After 14 weeks in Chesterfield Royal Hospital was taken home his relatives and had since been attended by Dr. West Jones. The Chesterfield Coroner (Dr. A. fixed the inquest for yesterday (Friday).
