CRESWELL – MOSBORO  BACON – WALLER

At St. Mark’s Church. Mosborough, on Saturday. Mr. Albert Bacon, son of Mr. Bacon and the late Mrs. F. Bacon, 26, Hill Side, Mosborough. was married to Miss Annia Waller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Waller, 9. Mosborough Moor, Mosborough.

Given away by her brother. Mr. George Waller, the bride wore a gown of shell pink satin, with embroidered silk net veil and a coronet of orange blossom. Her bouquet was pink and white carnations. Misses Emma, Louie and Edith Waller (sisters of the bride), and Miss Marjorie Bird were the attendants. The two seniors wore dresses of jubilee blue silk crepe, and wreaths of blue flowers, and the two smaller attendants wore primrose yellow crepe de-chine and wreaths of yellow and silver flowers. Their bouquets were of ’yellow Irises. Mr. Jim Waller (brother of the bride) was best man and Mr. Frank Waller (brother of bride) groomsman. The Rev. J. Milner. Rector of Killamarsh. officiated.

Over 70 attended a reception in Queen Street Methodist Church, being received by the bride’s mother. The bridegroom’s presents to the bridesmaids were necklets of crystal beads. Mr. and Mrs. A. Bacon have taken residence at 26. Hill Side. Mosborough.
