COUNTY OF DERBY TO WIT. NOTICE AND APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE FOR AN INN, ALE-HOUSE, OR VICTUALLING HOUSE – SYDNEY TAVERN

 

To the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Eckington, in the County of Derby, to the Superintendent of Police acting within the said Parish, and to all others whom it may concern.

 

I, MARY JOHNSON, now residing at Mosbro’ in the Parish of Eckington, in the County of Derby, DO HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that it is my intention to apply at the next General Annual Licensing Meeting, to be holden in and for the said Parish of Eckington at the COURT HOUSE, in Eckington, on the 24th day of August next ensuing in pursuance of the Act, 9 George IV…c 61, “the Intoxicating Liquors Licensing Act, 1872,” and “ “The Intoxicating Liquors Licensing Act 1872” and “The Intoxicating Liquors by retail, to be drunk or consumed in the House or Premises thereunto belonging, situate at Mosbro’, and that the said House is now Licensed for Beer to be consumed on the Premises, and which I intend to keep as an Inn, Ale-house, or Victualling House, and to be known by the sign of the Sydney Tavern.
