Ernest Jones was born 28 July 1914, to Albert Ernest Jones and Jessica Jones. According to 1939 Census Ernest lived with his father Albert and his brother George at 10a Chesterfield Derbyshire. His occupation was a Van Salesman Hardware.
Ernest sign up to The Leicestershire Regt. His regimental number is 6023868 He died on 27 May 1941, Age 26. He is buried in Phaleron War Cemetery at The Athens Memorial Part I (Abb-kyl), Greece.
